1991 – Gathering of the Tribes – Pacific Amphitheatre

Went to this show with Cathy.  This is the one with EPMD.  Primus headlined this show.  X and Fishbone also played.  We had a good time watching people and making up lives for them.  That was a game Cathy and I played while we people watched.

    X was so good at this show, one of the best performances! The only other thing I remember is getting sun burned.

    Went to this show. Crazy story, bought my tickets maybe 2 weeks before the show, figured I'd get garbage upper section but got front row right of center, someone screwed up and let loose some prime tickets for cheap. I get to the ampitheatre and the guard tries to explain to me they f'd up and I'd have to sit in the grass and I was like 'f you' where's your supervisor I made a giant stink about it and got to sit in the front freaking row with my girlfriend and buddy R. Dillard. Crazy sheeeet.

    Wow! I was at this show too! Just told someone about it yesterday. What a mix of performers! Do you remember someone got stabbed and all the police came? Sound garden came on right after the Indigo Girls. Total crowd transformation before your eyes. Great memories... except for the unfortunate violence.
